The facilitation programs listed below are for those engineering managers and leaders who want to be even more effective, and take their careers to the next level and who want to be more effective at cultivating leadership qualities in their direct reports.
Module 10: Communication and Leadership Confidence at the Executive Level.(Prerequisites: None / Duration: 2 days / Class size is limited to 14 participants)
Once a person has been a manager for some time or an executive, communication and influence becomes a subtle art, the more elegant the better. As a person advances up the management and executive ranks, influence based on personal persuasion becomes the norm while influence due to positional power becomes a means of last (or less obvious resort). This module provides training in the more subtler aspects of communication and influence which become more useful and effective as one advances in management and leadership.
Module 11: Negotiating for Experienced Managers.
(Prerequisites: None / Duration: 2 days / Class size is limited to 14 participants)
At the level of manager, leader, and executive, negotiation, like communication and influence, takes on a subtle and much more sophisticated form. This module will teach the negotiation tools necessary for managers, leaders, and executives to use in order to achieve the influence necessary for success.
Module 12: Choosing and Building Organizational Cultures That Fit Your Outcomes.
(Prerequisites: None / Duration: 2 days / Class size is limited to 14 participants)
Most managers and leaders develop a culture with and for their organizations that is a default culture. Often it is developed without a great deal of forethought. Imagine being able to develop a team and organizational culture on purpose, with concrete steps and predictable results. This module will train managers and executives to do just that.
Module 13: New Leadership and Management Processes for Experienced Managers.
(Prerequisites: Module 10 / Duration: 2 days / Class size is limited to 14 participants)
Leadership without management is doomed to chaos and management without leadership is doomed to stagnation. Both are necessary to succeed as an executive. This module trains managers, leaders, and executives in processes that will allow the manager to succeed and lead when necessary and the leader to succeed and manage when necessary. This is a critical module for long-term management and executive success.
